Winter is here! As usual, we conclude the year with our Winter Sampler, filled with the best tracks of the second half of the last 365 days.

So, here they are, the very finest tracks from the 12-3 autumn catalogue in a big påse of godis. This is the coolest xmas gift you'll get this year kids, excellence all the way through.

These are all amazing pieces of music, from Arnheims silky househit Talk To Me to the deep sea, salty sweet vibes in the Leav-groover Keep On. From the sizable Orphans-stomper Fluids to the impeccable vibes in masterpiece The Flow from new guy Solid District. There's a bit of garage in there as well, to be found in both my solo production Give It and mine and Leav's lil chef d'ouvre Told You, together with a glowing remix from Kasptaden, and the analogue caramel When That Day Comes, this makes for a luscious mix.

I feel genuinely greatful to work with a group of talented individual like these, this second half of 2013 has been superb to us as a label. So with this Sampler, catch up on what you missed, and follow us in to 2014 - it's going to be majestic.

Released: Solid District - L.U.V / The Flow EP

We released some brilliant and beefy house from Mexico's Solid District today!



About:

Getting good, like really good demos is rare, getting these two tracks sent to me was a pleasant surprise however. Their quality and joyfulness just seemed impossible to ignore, to my great delight. So I signed Solid District (a super nice Mexican guy called Fernando Mendoza) right there on the digital spot.

L.U.V and The Flow are two splendid deep house tracks. The A-side is a playfull tune bursting with groove, while B-side The Flow is a heavier production, beefy and big. Both of them work like a charm when played out. Dancing is guaranteed.

Shortly put: You'll have a blast with these two.

About: I was overwhelmed with the recognition and appreciation people had for the two EPs we've released thus far by Arnheim, so the release of these remixes feels well legitimate. And it's only logical that the combined talents of a first-rate line-up like this, and the exceptional ground work laid out by Arnheim would end up in one exquisite ep.

Talk To Me comes in two new versions: J.Op shows off his brilliance once more, through a subtle, dandy remix. Me, I'm combining some handsome stabs with that bass you all know by know. Leav and Orphans goes to work on the latest bomb-track from Arnheim, Hypnotism. Jonas Isaksson gives us yet another house-anthem, and the Orphans adds a new dimension with their spaced out, top-notch remix.

Released: Leav - Sincerely EP

We released a pretty fantastic EP from Leav today! Sincerely being one of the best tracks on 12-3 thus far!



About:

Leav is back with his last release of the year, a powerful three-track ep, deep and packed with groove.

Infectious title track Sincerely is one of those magnum opus tracks, stainless, overfilled with warmth and drive, a dancefloor-gem and a headphone treasure. If 3:45 doesn't get your heart racing I'd deem you soulless. Harsh. But honestly one of the best tracks released on TwelveThree thus far.

Piana and Avade gives us the full spectra of Jonas Isakssons talent, we're talking range. Piana is a proper deep house groover, and Avade combines video game aesthetics and a pounding, big-bass house production in an impeccable way.

Shortly put, I'm extremely glad to be able to put yet another Leav-masterpiece out there!

Kasper and Andreas are back! This Cuts-release got made in a kind of organic, natural way. As our esteemed Orphans dug deeper working on the much awaited first album (!), they got stuck (as you sometimes do) tweaking synths and drawing intricate automations. These People and Drama 101 got made as a contrast to all that.

Handy and systematic, these tracks are two cut-to-the-chase productions, functionallity avant tout. A great way to blow off some steam, and, two tracks that'll get played often and alot by us, and you guys, probably.

Arnheim returns to us at Twelve Three with his sophmore ep on the label, following the succes of the acclaimed Talk To Me EP released earlier this year, mid summer. I had absolutely no doubts about signing these tracks, as I asked for a contribution to our autumn catalogue pretty much instantly after the first release from this young talent.

The Woodwork supplies us with more quality house music, made with heart for the soul. Conscientious and ravishing, this a multifaceted release in every sense.

Right Samples takes us back, New York style, while Hypnotism is a trademarked, straight forward Arnheim-freight train. Lets Make Fun is a warm hearted piece of music, overwhelming and irresistible, and The Woodwoork takes off where Pariesia ended things on the last release - that powerful sax-and-rhodes-combo on a piercing percussion.

The Told You Ep sees Leav and Ruben Brundell in a mighty combo for the first time, three pieces of splendid house music being the result of this powerful alliance.

This is what's up: The title track gets the job done, built round a lovely lead/vocal hook combo, this is the first track to come out of the project, the obvious A-side to the release.

Soundlike started out with a pristine bassline and edgy vocal cut, and ended up a jumbo-sized, dubby house affaire, sprinkled with some sweet-flavored Rhodes-stabs. Waves is the third brainchild of the Jonas/Ruben-fusion, a dreamy piece of music resting on a voluminous pad and those simple yet challenging stabs.

Finally, the extended mix of Told You ends the ep as a little DJ-treat. Enjoy this first release from the two, and expect more to come.

Following the developement of Jonas Isaksson as a DJ, producer and musician has been thrilling. He's constantly reaching for something new, looking for that next creative burst. Sounds kliché-like, but it's more true for Jonas than anyone.

In his travels as Leav so far, he's been heading towards the deeper side of things mostly, sprinkling his productions with a lil extra dosage of bass here and there, however, this is is truly his new shape. Somewhere between deep house and timeless pop music, perfectly blending recognizable elements with a very personal, intimite feeling, we get Click and Spot On. Emmotive and creative, dancefloor ready and tight, most of all, it's impossible to not get mooved by these tracks.
