Explotied can't do no wrong right now. Many of us have loved the german label for years, but seems that the rest of the world is finally catching up. And the hype is well deserved. The last year's releases are stunning, like Urulu's throwback ep Sincerly 91'.

Announcement: Leav - Escargot EP

We're extremely glad to present another amazing debut on 12-3: Uppsala based DJ Jonas Isaksson, aka Leav, will be dropping his first three-tracker the 3rd of October.

A great piece of deep, well produced house with a touch of techno - get exited!

Flubba - Dont U Know EP

12-3-artist Flubba drops a new EP on Leeds label Midnight Social Recordings, and this is a proper must buy. Well produced, a groove to die for, massive, rough, pretty damn near perfection.

Young Aaron Lifton keeps amazing us, and I for one will be playing each single track from this EP a lot in my sets the coming months!

One from the 12-3 Vaults: O.Live.R - The Piano

The first ever release on 12-3 came from german DJ and producer O.live.R, and the A-side The Piano still is so very special to us at the label. A rusty, jazzy, piece of house that pretty much defined what we wanted to achieve in the early stages of the label.

The stand out track of this release is still a jewel, a solid groove if anything.

With two split EP:s on 12-3, made with Chicago-based partner in crime House of Royalty, and the mega hyped Community Service Mixtape by Preston San and Mojek being fully produced by Chris himself - Mojek is no newbie to the game.

Yet this is his solo debut (we're extremely lucky to release it!).

Chris Mojek, young talented DJ and producer from Chi-town provides four tracks in a balanced EP, reflecting all of his creativity, cleverness and skill. Modern club music-vibes, without boundaries, bouncy just like we love it.

That healthy disrespect towards genre is there, making this a release where stunning tech-house tunes fit perfectly with majestic club tracks and a dope rap track featuring Preston San. If you didn't know about this mastermind already, this should be the definitive eye opener.

12-3 labelhead Sticky Stockholm is one productive guy, and you're hard pressed to pick a favorite from his body of work.

On his third solo release we find this gem, way back in the tracklist. Simple yet heavy and crisp with a clave figure that nails it to the floor. This one could slay any dancefloor.

One from the 12-3 Vaults: Enkae - State 44

UK house-wizard Enkae provided what might be the dopest deephouse-track on 12-3 so far, a massive, thumping production with the undeniable vocal cut to lift it to greater hights.

This one was played a lot and often during our label nights at the time, a great opener, or a sweet way to end the sets of the later hours. If it's not in your crates yet, you should cop it now!

About:

The recipe for tasty, freshly squeezed juice is quite simple actually, though a perfect end result is really hard to achieve.

For the final product to come out right, the raw fruits/vetgables needs to be of the best possible kind, the making of the juice needs to be made with perfect vision, great precission and lots of love - the peeling careful, the squeezing firm. Do not underestimate the importance of a cool glass when pouring the juice, add the right ammount of ice cubes, because fresh juice should always be consumed chilled by ice cubes.

When mastering this process perfectly, allmost any combination of fruits or vetgables would make a great juice: kiwis or carrots, oranges or grape fruits. Mix and match till you've found that perfect combination - and then drink loads of it, every day.

One from the 12-3 vaults: House of Royalty - Contra

Both me and Sticky are huge gamers and have actually worked as game journalists in the past. With that being said, Konami is one of my all time favorite game developers and the Contra-series one of the greats. To this day I still play Super Contra (or Super Probotector as it's called here in the PAL-region), regularly.

In other words, a tune that includes a vocal sample citing the famous Konami-code (and is a little similair to Contra's main theme) goes straight to my heart. It doesn't hurt that it's also incredibly funky and catchy.
