Leav keeps it amazing - This being his mere sophmore release, we still feel like this guy came from nowhere and became the discovery of 2012. A tastemaker and skilled producer, a dedicated musician and a cool guy, his second ever EP will blow you into tiny, tiny, tiiiiny bits and pieces.

Four tracks (one more than the first one) to step it up, World is that release. With a near manic production flow and a never dying enthusiasm to explore and re-invent himself - Jonas Isaksson just doesn't dissapoint. This release gives us the whole damn package, deep house (with a touch of techno) at it's very finest. Innovative percussion patterns, low key chords and happy stabs. Most of all, it gives us a darn good, howling title track called World.

About:

Maya Lourenço, aka Lemieux, is one of Swedens hardest working DJ:s, she has been that for quite some time now. Except for being a cool dude and a dope DJ, she's also a terrific producer, and yay! We picked her up for a sweet release on 12-3!

Maya has lots of cool stuff in the scope, coming late 2012 and following in early 2013, so evidently, we're more than happy to have snatched these three gems for our humble label. Somewhere in the twilight zone where techno and house meets, Lemieux produces her own style of brilliant dance music. Made for the clubs, played in the clubs, to create that rave in the clubs.

This release, deep and nice, takes you on a journey into creativity and awesome taste, May Nights being the obvious hit, while equally nice Trees I Climb and No Letting Go makes the perfect follow up-tracks.

Focused fun and dancefloor caliber of different variety but proper quality lead the way in 2012:s last ep from label boss Ruben Brundell. The Rhythm EP is a classic four track-story, straight up relentless house tracks with lots of sugar on top.

A-side title track takes you down nostalgia lane, classic stabs and candy production, sprinkled with a sweet bass and soft voice cut. Straight to the point follow up track Ting Ting comes overloaded with groove. A no fuss affaire. Move On is that jam, bassline and vocal sample being juicy fat, the saucy steak version of a house song.

BB-side Rocks & Stones is a streched out, deep and thumping production. Heavy toms on a clean kick. A four 'o clock zen-track if there ever was one, to be used only when the floor is in full out hypnosis-mood.

New York's Flubba gave us one of the most popular 12-3-releases to date earlier in 2012. Where title track Can't Wait was charted, blogged, played and loved to the very limit. Now, a good five months later, we finally have the follow up remix-ep signed, sealed and ready to melt your face.

Lingustic genious, L.A-son 2 Edit, opens the EP by turning the track down and maximizing the pressure through his colder cut. A brilliant low key-take on the deep original. Uppsala-DJ Leav, the newest addition to our rooster, adds gliding synths and delayed perfection with his 03-o'clock banger of a remix. Our favourite Stockholm-duo Kasper and Andy in Orphans STHLM make Can't Wait a creative techno-track. And finally, Brendan Witherspoon a.k.a Spoonz lets the creativity flow free with the surprise-track of the EP, a great way to end off this one!

Four excellent remixes. And they're all heat.

One from the 12-3 vaults: Sticky & Sandy - Montauk

I wasn't the only one thinking "whoa Angelo Badalamenti's lawyers ain't gonna be happy about this one". But once and for all, this is not a Twin Peaks-sample, but a carefully chosen pad.

And careful sums up "Monatuk" pretty good. A whooper of a track – almost 12 and a half minutes – that carefully revs up it's gears, just to bring them down again just when you thought the crescendo has reached it's peak. And all the while that beautiful and epic chord progression is playing in the back.

If you ever have the opportunity to sit at the beach in Montauk and put this gem on, please do. It's awesome.
